I’ve been a Surgical Trauma, Transplant, and Neuro ICU Registered Nurse since 2009, dedicating over a decade to navigating life-and-death moments at the bedside of countless patients. In 2019, something shifted deep within me—my Journey of Remembrance began, calling me to uncover and embody my truest, most authentic self. During this awakening, I started to see a pattern in Western medicine: we were treating symptoms without addressing the root cause. I adjusted my approach, focusing on understanding the deeper origins of illness. Yet, something still felt incomplete. I began to perceive layers of humanity and healing that science alone couldn’t explain.
